It was a slower week. Not much happening in the kitchen, most of our time preoccupied with either picking up toys or wishing we had the countertops. The good news of the week is that we enjoyed two lovely dinners “out” – not take out, but friend out! Our wonderful neighbors invited us to dinner on Thursday and we dined with fabulous family friends on Friday. (Alliteration on purpose – for you, mom. Happy Birthday!) They definitely earned a spot in line for dinner in the new digs!
There was one change from Friday – the doors for the refrigerator went on. And with it being Valentine’s Day, I found a little love in the kitchen. Just because I’m living in a construction site doesn’t mean I can’t have a little fun with the dust. And the lilies are courtesy of my family – and I placed them where they would be in a finished kitchen. Happy Valentine’s Day!
